The Cobbler is one of the classic Arrochar Alps walks. It rewards early starts, sensible kit and a weather check before you set off.
The route is popular because it feels like a proper mountain day without needing a huge drive from Arrochar or Tarbet. After the walk, a nearby cottage is a far better prospect than a long slog home.
